The transition to transmural care in Belgium depends on a scalable implementation of telemonitoring across the entire healthcare landscape. This implementation comes with data integration challenges.
The 'Telemonitoring Hub', which functions as a data hub between 'Telemonitoring Providers' and Belgian hospitals is responsible for authentication and communication to (via context integration) and from (via Layered Data Born FAIR) a telemonitoring solution. A first implementation of this solution has already been developed and currently several hospitals, 'telemonitoring providers' and 'EPD vendors' are involved. The goal is to integrate the Hub in all Belgian hospitals.

Byteflies is structured in autonomous cross-functional teams that have the needed different skills to achieve their goals and work towards our long term vision. You will be part of the Vital Signs Team.

Software Engineer at Byteflies

• You are able to develop a story end to end: from refinement with the PO to production. This includes thinking about the quality attributes, the UI, test coverage, ... bringing a feature/set of features to production, well tested and highly qualitative. You know when to ask for review and seek push back on your ideas.
• You make suggestions for improving products, services and the way of working in the team (eg improvement of cycle time, automation, cost, ...). You not only make suggestions, you take ownership on them and make the changes happen.
• You are the point of contact for EPD vendors, telemonitoring providers and hospitals to assist and facilitate the technical integration. You explain our solution on the technical level, you assist in API documentation and integration, you test and troubleshoot.
• You have a solid experience with nodeJS (Typescript), CloudFormation, React (web), AWS services (including AWS API gateway, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB …)
• You can work independently, which assumes you have some years of experience in software development and all aspects of it. We build and we run, we build and we test, we build and automate … therefore it is important you have experience with much much more than ‘code’. We don’t want to pinpoint on a number, but if we need to, we assume you’ll need at least 3+ years of work experience.
