CovidCare@Home

A telemonitoring solution for COVID-19 patients to recover at home

COVID-19 has been an unprecedented challenge for our society. The increase in patients during successive outbreaks has placed an enormous strain on healthcare systems. As hospitals were pushed to their limits, many patients were not able to get the medical care they required. To preserve hospital resources for critical patients, Byteflies and partners developed CovidCare@Home, and launched the eponymous non-profit organization to serve Belgian healthcare providers.

Avoid unnecessary or lengthy hospitalizations

CovidCare@Home is a medically certified telemonitoring system that healthcare providers can use to transition patients from the ward to their home under the supervision of a telemonitoring team. A number of easy-to-use medical devices are bundled to monitor body temperature, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate. A hospital dashboard manages the patients and their data, and a patient app can be used to submit patient reported outcome data.
