Key Account Manager (Brux/Wall/Lux)

We want to hire two new colleagues in our sales Team. As Key Account Manager Brussels & Wallonia you will be responsible for sales, customer satisfaction, customer growth and acquisition in Wallonia, Brussels & Luxemburg.

What does a Key Account Manager at Byteflies do?

  • Byteflies wants to enable the transition to trans mural care: you'll advocate how the Byteflies platform and the Byteflies Solutions (Cardio Flows, Vital Signs, ...) enable that and how we get medical insights from home to hospital without a hassle.
  • You are responsible for the overall strategy for the account, for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. You focus on both hospitals as physicians in private practices.
  • You navigate the complex decision making process in Hospitals
  • You develop customer-specific account plans that are built upon deep customer understanding. Best-in-class account plans reflect a deep understanding of a customer’s business strategy and objectives—and extensive knowledge of the customer’s purchasing process and key decision makers.
  • You are responsible for customer growth: discovering unmet customer needs and developing/executing a plan to increase customer satisfaction and usage of our services. You will support customers in the use of Byteflies products with the aim of increasing product usage, including the introduction of new technologies and market releases.
    • You detect training needs and collaborate closely with the clinical team to implement best practices and achieving best clinical outcomes.
    • Provide expert technical and clinical advice/support.
  • You meet sales targets: you combine account management, customer growth and acquisition to achieve that. Aka you combine hunting and farming (with more focus on hunting, if we have to choose)
  • Market exploration and customer segmentation and classification to build your operational sales plan. You generate leads and open doors.
  • You partner with KOLs and relevant working groups (e.g. NVVC-BHRM).
  • You take part in organizing and attending commercial or clinical meetings or trade shows.
  • You fully utilize the tools (like Hubspot) provided by the company to log customer interactions and report the progress towards long term commercial deals. You understand how your data adds to the success of our commercials and marketing efforts.

What we will be on the lookout for?

  • At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience in a similar role with a track record of achieving results.
    • Ideally you have experience in medical sales, in healthcare, pharma or MedTech.
    • Experience with a complex stakeholder field and decision making process is a must.
    • Experience in selling to hospitals and healthcare institutions is a big plus.
      Existing customer network with cardiologists/electro-physiologists is a huge plus.
    • Affinity with tech is also considered as a plus.
  • You have a bachelor or Masters degree .
    A Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, health, health engineering is a plus.
  • A strong communicator, an active & attentive listener.
  • You build relationships easily, your interpersonal skills are great
  • Commercial drive and love for working towards measurable goals. A.k.a a go-getter attitude. You like winning and achieving results. You don’t let go, even when it’s tough.
  • Someone who likes to be in the field, likes being on the road to meet various stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand/present/teach detailed technical and clinical information, to all levels of customers.
  • You know how to negotiate and land deals, even in a complex stakeholder landscape
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • A team player with high self-starting capability. An entrepreneur who is creative in exploring new ways and opportunities to bring our cardio services to cardiologists and patients
  • You are fluent in French and English (both verbal and written communication)
  • You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to be on the road most of your time.
